The second stock I want to take a closer look at is AMD.
A second company that I believe can benefit from this is AMD, right? AMD and meta two have a very very strong partnership. Uh back in February, and they kind of extended a little bit more in July.
AMD is using it Meta's going to be using AMD to design special MI450 chips. It's going to use them for a lot of CPU solutions. It's going to use them for a lot of full stack server solution as well.
And as we are moving into this AI HMC world, I do believe the CPUs are going to get a massive market win for AMD. In a recent in a recent kind of report or or conference that AMD was at on September 11th, um the SVP and general manager of compute and enterprise AI mentioned that control plane API calls, database queries, tool execution, and all that is pure CPU base.
So, you're seeing this uplift in a whole new class plus the traditional general purpose of CPU needs, and they're seeing that dramatically grow.
They mentioned at their AI event in November, they said that this it looks like multiple areas of growth for the CPU. They called it, but they called it too low, and that's why for AMD, if you have been following the stock, you would have seen that their total addressable market in CPUs went from like 60 billion in November to 120 billion, I believe, in December to recently jumping up to 220 billion dollars plus.
So, massive TAM expansion here for for AMD, and if Meta does extremely well with their Muse models and continues to develop great models, you are going to see that intrinsic tool grow even more and more and become even more bullish for AMD.
With AMD, that partnership that they have with the AI GPUs, the MI 450, the custom solutions that they're working with there.
