For example, we saw this explosion in AMD's stock. To be fair, we had expected a breakout around the mid-forties here. It happened, but things got pretty crazy.
We have reached a level of 645 in AMD stock. It is in the "overbought" zone on the daily chart. It is in the " overbought" zone on the weekly chart. I just think some of this is a bit premature because I don't think we need that many processors.
AMD's stock rose by 183% , which is also nearly 3 times its value this year. Which is , I mean, very impressive. It's amazing. But some of this may be a little exaggerated due to the recent enthusiasm for processors in connection with Meta Muse.
He found that the AMD Venice chip itself, a 256-core CPU, could support approximately 896 virtual and proxy devices.
Think about it. A single AMD chip can support 896, or approximately 900, of these proxy instances, assuming processor time is shared , since the proxies remain idle for a long time , as you can share them, rather than assuming everyone is working at the same time.
And then spending it on Nvidia and AMD's Frontier chips; that's a good deal because they have their goals, but the amount of money they're spending on those chips seems a bit crazy .
Jensen and Lisa Su are thrilled that they do n't even have to manufacture these products. All they do is It's the design, then Elon Musk comes along with all his weight to say, "You guys are the best."
We'll gather all the money in the world and give it to Jensen."
So, these mini PCs, with an AMD R7 processor, 16GB of RAM , and a 512GB SSD. Okay, you can buy this for $417.
Maybe not as good as AMD's, and I think AMD is a great company. Still, it might be a little overhyped.
