The last stock on our list is going to be ARM Holdings. The ticker is ARM, and it was 2.67% 67% higher in the pre-market on Thursday as CEA CEO rather Renee Hos expressed heightened confidence in the company's first in-house data center chip the AGI CPU achieving its $2 billion revenue target while speaking with CNBC.
Now, our next story here is actually going to be on ARM Holdings. And guess what? Stop me if you've heard this before. The CEO is saying that the demand has never been stronger.
ARM Holdings, which is ticker ARM, their stock is trading nearly 3% higher Thursday in the pre-market trading as investors digest bullish comments from CEO Renee Hos on artificial intelligence demand and the company's growth outlook.
Hos said demand for the company's technology has never been stronger. However, he warned that supply constraints could persist for years as artificial intelligence drives soaring computing needs.
Ha said, "AI requires huge amounts of CPUs, GPUs, and memory, and demand is rising across data centers, automotive, robotics, and edge computing. However, the industry may struggle to keep pace."
Quote, "The big constraint is going to be supply." End quote. That is from Hos as he pointed to potential bottlenecks in wafers, substrates, testing equipment, and memory.
As a result, Host expects complex supply chain issues for the next several years. He also said ARM's confidence in reaching two billion for its emerging chip business has continued to improve.
The company first discussed visibility towards that level in May, saying, quote, "I'm more confident today than I was on that July earnings call." End quote.
Ha said customers are asking ARM to produce more chips and deliver them faster rather than expressing concern about ARMs competing with its licenses. He also expects data centers to soon become ARM's largest business after years of double-digit growth.
H pointed to robotics and autonomous vehicles as another major opportunity. He said advanced robots and automobiles could each contain hundreds of CPUs, saying quote, "Every AI application is going to run through ARM in one shape or another." End quote.
I got to be honest with you, that is a pretty bullish uh comment there from the CEO. ARM also trading up here today, not just in sympathy with the market bounce, but looks like on some other pretty good news here.
ARM was the other one that we talked about. Really bullish outlook there from CE CEO Renee Hos. Here's what ARM looks like. This is up five and a half percent here at 257. This actually takes us just this does take us above the 20-day takes us just shy of the 50. The 100 is not far above that.
The other thing here about ARM is that if this chart, you see it's really kind of come in now. It's kind of chopped along here. If this chart starts to curl here, we're going to have the 50 not do a death cross and we're going to have the rest of these moving averages
