Companies like Marll, SK Highex, Micron, and Super Micro Computer each down 6% while Core Weave, SanDisk, Intel, and AMD were all down by more than 4%.
So some of the stocks on the front lines of this development negatively speaking are the Neoclouds companies like Coreeave Iron these are two companies I downgraded today I had these two stocks ranked as buying opportunities I downgraded them to a hold today as a result of this news.
These companies are only getting the leftovers of demand, right? If there's a slowdown and there isn't such urgent need for computing power, then these companies won't experience such a surge in that demand.
And not in the near term, they've already got contracts signed for multiple years. But what I've been considering with these companies is the renewal of those contracts. When those contracts are completed, will the companies need to renew those contracts?
And if there's a slowdown, then there might be enough computing power existing already in the primary ecosystem that you won't need to go to these secondary providers of computing.
