Moving on to Google. Started the week at 332. Similar to Amazon, went down and then U-shaped back up. Finished the week maybe about a percent. Finished the week at 335.
The company is launching their own Gemini native app on Windows PCs. This follows chatblad and others which have dedicated apps inside of the ecosystems whether it's Macintosh or in some cases Linux or in this case Windows PC.
Seems like it's a little past its prime but never late or better late than never.
Deep Seek's new ultra-lowcost models presents challenges for US labs according to some researchers as Google is not really necessarily playing at the frontier at least at the current time.
Many believe they've been completely passed by including by Grock which we'll talk about here in a second. Maybe even Meta's Muse models have surpassed Gemini but Gemini still being used obviously for the lowcost flash models.
And so there's this vertical if you will that open AI will go through. I mean we saw this with Google. This is the exact same thing that has happened with Google over the past 25 years.
They started as the window to the internet, the search box to the internet and then they started buying companies and they did maps and they did shopping and they you know after a while on really highly competitive searches Google was like locked up in the top.
You were going to run through a Google product or click on a Google property somewhere in the top of the searcher results. Same thing's going to happen with these AIs.
Google found its 200 day moving average just briefly this week and again there is demand for shares whenever they hit there. Key with Google is I mean you're right on support. You would not want to see this stock trade lower, but a move higher obviously bullish.
