LEN is a value opportunity but the speaker avoids buying due to boredom and interest rate sensitivity.

We have another classic valuable investment in a sector that has been badly damaged by economic headwinds over the past few years, namely Lennar, ticker symbol LEN, into which Berkshire poured more than $270 million , increasing its stake by about 30% during the quarter.

As for the stock itself, it has been rather disastrous lately , and we know that Berkshire tends to seize opportunities at large dips when a stock is plummeting , but Lynn's stock has so far lost more than 50% of its total value since the peak.

High interest rates have made buying homes much more expensive, which is killing some demand, especially for first-time buyers who are already struggling with inflation and may be waiting for conditions to start improving.

As a result, Lennar was forced to reduce its prices to 2017 levels, causing its sales and profits to shrink over the past two years.

This is before analysts predict a recovery in approximately 2027 or 2028 .

Well, for those looking to acquire the country's second- largest homebuilder at a much lower price now, this could be a good opportunity to do so. You can also receive good dividends while you wait for that recovery to happen.

But for me, this job is a bit boring. You know, it's very sensitive to interest rates, and I'm interested in other stocks at the moment . Therefore, I do not plan to buy this stock myself , at least not at this time.

But it is still much better than "Missies", which I do not see having a long-term future. So, I'm going to move up "Google" and "Delta" one place to put "Linar" right in the middle at the third position.
