I have always loved Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and Main Street Capital, a business development company that generates a 7% return.
But, for example, I like Main Street Capital. I'll give you just one example. Main Street Capital is a business development company. The ticker symbol is MAIN. It's very easy to remember.
It's the only stock that pays monthly and quarterly dividends. I mean, out of 10,000 shares out there, it's the only one that pays monthly and quarterly dividends. And they invest in private companies, pre-IPO companies.
Um. Oh, and their track record is amazing. I mean, 99%, only 1% struggling. That's an incredible record because they really do their due diligence. So, Main Street, with a 7% return, has outperformed the market since inception.
I still think they're doing really well. So, this is one of my favorite companies as a freebie for all your listeners. You might want to take a look at Main Street Capital. You know, you're not going to get a tenfold return, or become a millionaire or anything like that.
You'll be lucky if the stock goes up 10% or maybe 20% a year including the dividend, and I'm happy with that. That's a good overall return. A year later. It's a conservative and wonderful investment.
