Meta's legal settlement is a competitive win; the stock offers a bullish technical entry near 530-538 support levels.

And potentially one coming from Meta. And that is where we kick things off. Meta platform start the week at 551. Shares were up nearly 4.9% official week at 578.
Now before we get to AI, Meta obviously as you know had a big moment in the courtroom. one that was expected to last six weeks that came to a screeching halt as both sides, the attorney generals from across the country and Meta decided in a courtroom to settle.
An $18 billion settlement. Luckily, Meta doesn't have to reach into their pocket all at once. It looks like they can pay this out over 10 years, which is more or less pennies for the company over that period of time.
At the end of the day though, Meta is going to implement some changes on its platform. But I think they did get a win here. Essentially forcing the hand of both Tik Tok and YouTube, forcing different types of safeguards, time limits, and different types of things.
That way, Instagram isn't quote unquote disadvantaged from this verdict than the other social media platforms.
What this doesn't absolve Meta from are the individual plaintiffs and victims that are going to continue to bring suits against the company, including those verdicts out here in California and New Mexico.
Those will continue, but settling here probably makes dealing with those individuals slightly easier in the long run.
One disappointment is we don't get to cover the testimony, which again from Meta's perspective, they probably didn't want all their tea spilled week after week. And so ending it now with a settlement probably a good thing.
Now the company is considering slashing its teams inside of its organization by up to 60% as you continue to push into AI.
I will say though, it is more difficult for these bloated organizations like Meta to slim down rather than to scale up. But if they were able to pull this off, well then Meta will probably continue to succeed.
Now, the company is eyeing a new consumer AI agent launch coming sometime in the next couple of weeks. This is to rival things like Grockbox. Now, Meta has full capabilities to do this as well as they are launching something internally called Hatch.
The good news for Meta is they have this WhatsApp application which was being used by OpenClaw. All of this is good for Meta.
The other thing for Meta is they can be a little bit late to this. We're used to this with Apple, right? They're not the first on the market with a device. They can be a little bit late.
And given Meta scale, they can be a little bit late to the AI bots. They have so many users in these types of things.
Meta is trying to insert themselves in that discussion but Google has fallen back when it comes to Gemini at least at the top end.
Meta, nice move off a very like there is demand for the shares at 538. I think Meta is a clear trade setup. Whether you want to go long at this level, I think can be a longer discussion that we don't need to have, but there's clear trade setups.
Meta has consistently bounced off this 530 level. You can buy the stock in the 530 level or even where it's at right now, set a stop loss just below that and hope you play to the upside.
You are wedging out here as well. something that we've pointed out, you have this rising wedge or I don't think this is technically known as a white rising wedge, but this is very much a pennet formation.
These tend to break in the direction of the dominant trend, which is higher.
