Meta's AI narrative shift and large installed base support a bullish stance; the speaker remains long after selling some shares at highs.

I definitely want to talk about Meta with you. Uh, Meta, wow, the move in Meta in the past uh few weeks. You and I were talking before this about where you were buying Meta back in July in the the mid60s and here we are today 770.
obviously the newest announcement centering around AI and Muse and the new AI agent, but not just Muse, all of the AI stuff that Zuck says is happening there at Meta. You and I have talked in the past about the capex at Meta and how they were spending and spending and spending and there wasn't really much to show for it.
Here's what what there is to show for it. And it's definitely different I think than the failure they had with the metaverse which we you you and I had you know made those correlations before.
What I've been saying is this is stocks move short term especially these types of move it's all based on narrative. Is he winning? Is he losing? is are all these investments for not like are they literally spending billions of dollars and missing the whole plot?
Listen, I don't care if you think it's going to bring in money and be profitable and change their earnings trajectory over the next year or so. Like there was someone a very well-known Twitter account this morning that was talking about how many people actually use it.
And a couple people warned me because it's like a huge account where a million people follow it. I'm like, I I literally don't care. Um, I'm buying this dip.
And the the major reason is this. They have the largest installed base in social media. You're on Instagram, they're suggesting you use it. Right? You're on Facebook, they're suggesting you use it.
WhatsApp, they're suggesting you use it. So the fact that they can grow this quickly is just plain logical because we all weren't using chat GBT via a social media service when that took the world by storm.
So you have that then you have all these bonafide anecdotes or real happen stance like things that are happening where people are have delayed flights and Muse is dealing with it, right?
or they literally were overcharged on a credit card like everyday people who are not techies are finding their life is made easier by it. So company with largest installed base actually is making life easier for the billions of people they service and the entire narrative changes
and then moreover management is front and center all over Twitter not their property thread but Twitter and you're talking about Wang as well the guy who's in charge of the tech side of this and they're speaking about it they're joking about it in a positive way and every box gets checked Right?
You have management front and center, not saying, "We're spending. Be patient." They're saying, "Look at what we did. Look at what we accomplished." They're tweeting up a storm.
They're have they're basically providing a meta event where they're backing up a lot of the information we already knew. And um the entire narrative shifted
and then this is all happening via a company that was trading at 20 times when the S&P trades at 20 times. So, it was kind of a no-brainer to buy in my opinion down there today.
Um, today it's a different story, but uh that that that's what I think. Now, uh am I willing to change my mind in a year if it turns out because you know they're not charging for this.
They're charging via the companies that are going to use this, right? Um they're they're going to use it in travel and insurance, etc. Um I I'll worry about that after.
But when I can buy a stock like this morning, I started buying Meta, it's 727, right? Like literally right there. It hit 770 today. So, I don't really give an F about how much pro how much this they earn from this product a year from now.
I care that the entire narrative shifted and you got to be long.
Now, today I've sold most of my stock. I'm going to stay long. But, yeah, what an insane rally. And uh on any pullbacks, I'll go back to we're about um 20 points away from the all-time high from last August uh late August of 2025.
Do you think we get through the all-time high and can we hit a thousand on that?
I I would say so. Right. If this starts to show up in earnings, but more importantly, advertising rates hold up, they're monetizing WhatsApp and you see them raising guidance, not lowering guidance like last quarter, you can have a stock that for real reasons, as it should, can trade 900,000.
Are the next 20 points higher? I don't know. It might pull back 10 or 20 before that, but I I think that's totally conceivable. I wouldn't bet it's going to a thousand like I don't know next month because people might get a little bit spoiled.
I mean, this stock traded up 200 points in a straight line. So, I expect the gains to be a little less easy, but I can see it be a $900,000 stock for sure.
The broader market is down today. Meta is up three and a half% right now. Uh at 770 bucks,
Anyway, um so the socks because it's trading better via MU and SanDisk, which got over some important levels, Dell, CRM, um and certainly Meta.
