and Microsoft we're actually seeing some of the mag 7 you know the sort of before AI became the number one topic. Some of these Mag Seven names are actually holding some up arrows today while many other names are down five and 8% this morning.
In fact, a Microsoftbacked OpenAI agents did have a link to a cyber attack which I thought was interesting, but what do you think about a name like Microsoft for example? Are you are a fan or worried?
Yeah. Yeah, we're a fan of Microsoft. We think that their legacy software business is going to be very durable. We think it'll continue to grow. We think that they will incorporate a lot of AI functionality into the products and that their very deep relationships with clients spanning not just you know one or two products but just dozens across um you know productivity apps and also security tools um you know storage cloud storage etc. Um, we think Microsoft's really deep ties with its customers and humongous um, capital base and ability to invest will make them a successful company over time.
So, we think Microsoft's an appealing stock. I like the valuation today.
And yeah, if we're going to pace the frontier, that means legacy software companies, the likes of Microsoft and Oracle and Service Now and IBM, etc. That's got to be incremental good news for these companies.
But, but even even past that, I think Microsoft is a very uh, very good business with good growth prospects. It's well managed and the valuation is attractive. So, we like it today and it's a top 10 position in our fund.
