$NFLX

NFLX has near-term upside potential from resolved M&A overhang, ad sales growth, and Ackman's stake; long-term trend confirmation requires weekly RSI > 50.

Next up, Netflix has been on a tear certainly going back to mid-July. And a lot of this having to do with that M&A deal. It had quite a bit of overhang, but now that that is behind it, the stock has been able to advance.

Also, the fact that they are seeing quite a bit of improvement in their advertising sales, and most impactful more recently is the fact that Bill Ackman took a major stake in the company.

So, we can see this V-shaped recovery taking place. We have a nice positive RSI and MACD. Your next potential area of upside resistance is this 200-day simple moving average. You will want to also take a look at the weekly chart because in order for a more pronounced advance taking shape longer term, we are going to want to get that RSI back above 50.

Right now, we're sitting here at 48.3. So, that'll be a secondary, but key metric that you will want to keep an eye on. We did see a nice black line up through the red bullish crossover on the MACD.

So, Netflix certainly is setting up for further upside, but for longer term investors, keep that weekly chart in mind.
