One of the companies I follow is Nike, which was, you know, ... There is a well-documented conversation between Warren Buffett and Lou Simpson, who was one of the biggest fans of Nike, about how much he liked it and how great its business was.

I believe its stock price has fallen by about 80% from its peak , and it has lost a few weeks, hitting its lowest levels almost daily. So, it was like a car accident. I check on her from time to time to see where she is .

I don't know how she will recover from here, but I think that evaluating her at some point makes it interesting enough.

Well, yes, I mean that was their fault. They have alienated retailers. They had that failed experiment with Amazon, and many other things , which opened the door for brands like Hoka or Hoka, or whatever you pronounce it.

Yes, that's their fault, but you know, brands, if you have a great brand, it's hard to tarnish it, but it's hard to destroy it. The other problem is that in the 1980s and 1990s, when Nike was at the height of its power, with Jordan and others, athletes needed much more than Nike needed .

Now, athletes can go directly to the consumer regarding their image and everything else . So Nike has lost some of its power, but if it sells for a low enough price, it might be worth taking a look at it.

The dividend yield is around 4.5%, and I read that it is likely to be reduced. I didn't look at it closely, but 4.5% is always its highest level before it's reduced. Has it been downgraded from the Dow Jones index or any other index?

When this happens, it is usually a good buy signal.
