Yes, I think Palantir is interesting because it actually helps companies implement artificial intelligence in an effective way, and the results speak for themselves. Companies simply do not want to hand over the keys to artificial intelligence to large corporations.

They really want to control their own data and logic. So, you are seeing a shift towards what they call " sovereign AI," where companies balance smaller, open-source models with flagship models.

They do not want to hand over all their intellectual property to single technology giants.

One real-world example is Hexion, a manufacturer of specialty chemicals. It's not an attractive business, but they use Palantir to link all their systems, from procurement and production to consumer demand, into a single platform.

This allowed them to see how a single problem could spread throughout the entire system. Then they added artificial intelligence agents to monitor the inventory around the clock.

Orders are then automatically accelerated when there are surges in demand. This has effectively resulted in a $300 million improvement in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) over 3 years.
