$TSLA

Tesla's stock is at a critical juncture; it needs to close above the 100-day and 200-day moving averages to confirm bullish momentum, but the outcome is uncertain.

Moving on to Tesla, started the week at 338 and holy cow, shares were up 7 and 1/4% this week at 362. Holy cow. This comes as in I was going to say Nvidia, Nevada. No, Nevada approved Tesla, Uber, Waymo for robo taxi rides around Las Vegas including Amazon Zoox as well.

Now, here was the interesting thing. I believe Waymo asked for a thousand robo taxis, Uber asked for another thousand. Tesla got approved to operate 5,000 robo taxis. Now, a couple of things about Tesla, they obviously or already operate what is called the hyperloop in Vegas.

You can catch it down by the convention center and I think it takes you underneath the ground in self-driving Teslas but obviously these are the robo taxis that are going to drive on, you know, Flamingo and Paradise or, you know, Las Vegas Boulevard and those types of things.

Interesting that they got 5,000 robotaxis. It's also a state where they have a presence from a manufacturing perspective. The company is also planning a cybercab robotaxi event.

Now, keep in mind, you say cybercab over at Tesla, these are the gold vehicles that have no steering wheel. These are specifically meant for ride-sharing. Then you have robotaxis, which can be the cybercabs or could be a Model Y.

The company appears to be going all-in on the cybercabs as more and more are being spotted. In fact, last time I was in Palo Alto, I saw one. It is believed that the company is going with the strategy instead of pushing Model Y's off the factory line out into the cybercab fleet.

It's believed they're doubling down on these as they cost less per unit and maybe in some cases given where gasoline prices are, guarantee the Model Y is selling.

Also, Grok Bot, which is a Claude Bot or Open Claw, I think is what they're calling it these days, and Hermes agent type thing. This is maybe more web-based. It doesn't require Although, I don't know this for a fact, but I don't think it requires terminal access.

I've seen largely positive reviews from this, but you do have to take some of that with a grain of salt. Tesla tends to roll these out to influencers, which like to get on their knees and kind of suck the company a little bit before the general public has access.

That said, I have seen people that I trust say, "Hey, the Grok bot is actually pretty darn good." And obviously, the underlying model is good as well.

Now, Tesla, wow. This green line, which I'll change to, let's change it to purple. Lakers might have a good season. Actually, let's delete that purple line, and we've got one purple line on the screen.

Single purple line, and that was support. Look at this V shape. You created a gap in the chart after earnings. You filled that gap. Now, it's decision day for Tesla. Can you close above the moving averages?

You sliced through the early two. That's the easy part. Now, getting through the 100 and the 200-day, that's a little bit harder. Although, with a volatile stock like Tesla, it's not as hard of a lift.

We'll have more news when we get to Waymo, and probably every week when we talk about Tesla in relation to CyberCab and self- driving taxis.
