Tesla's robotaxi expansion and Optimus development indicate a path to massive scale and market dominance.

Some juicy new info, apparently, on Tesla's Optimus humanoid robot. He's making sick progress, and he's not showing it publicly, but I saw it.

Optimus will be the best-selling, I think, product of all time. Yeah, the fidelity of the Optimus is and its ability to do novel things, you kind of nailed it. I don't want to say any more.

That said, we do know that a while ago, Elon Musk pointed out that every time they were, as in Tesla was showing off updates with Optimus, the rest of the industry was immediately attempting to copy, steal, and replicate everything they'd seen.

And remember, Tesla recently decommissioned the Model S and X production lines in Fremont, California, specifically to start putting in place the production line for the first commercial version of Optimus.

They wouldn't be doing this if they weren't close to a final design. I just wanted to provide an update after Waymo's massive own goal attempting to take shots at Tesla backfired.

Ethan Who, according to his X profile, works in communications at Waymo, I guess his current brief is to communicate to the world how scared and insecure they are about Tesla's cybercabs.

The timing of this incredibly insecure cope from Waymo is highly coincidental given Tesla's cybercab is launching in just a few days and we're seeing them popping up all over the United States.

to Tesla has officially expanded its robotaxi service area in Dallas, Texas, more than doubling its total size. This, just a few days prior to the official launch of the Cybertruck.

Tesla's AI lead reposting this video of a Cybertruck cruising around with the caption, "The streets won't be the same anymore." Cybertrucks have also recently been spotted in Manhattan.

Joe Rogan, if you know, you know, also posting some footage this time of a robotaxi spotted in Washington, D.C.

Remember, Tesla's not stupid. You might be, I might be. In fact, I definitely am. But Tesla, not stupid. Tesla is strategically seeding cities, gaining a foothold in all of the meaningful major metropolitan areas in the United States.

Generally speaking, they'll be systematically working their way down the top 100 cities by population.

Houston, where Tesla already has a robotaxi foothold, is number four at almost 2.5 million. So, despite what the very high IQ individuals working in communications at Waymo and for Sam Altman at Closed AI might have you believe, Tesla is in fact aiming for massive scale of safe, ubiquitous, extremely affordable autonomy throughout the United States, not just in one and two isolated locations at small scale, but everywhere.

Saw this by Adan on X, who noticed and captured some footage as well. Some pick up and drop off of Tesla employees in cybercabs in downtown Austin.

It has been noticed that the LED light strips, which have RGB colors, see there, that's green, can change color. What a brilliant idea when you're operating at massive scale everywhere to be able to indicate to a customer the color of the light strip on the cybercab that's here to pick you up so you're not trying to look at a license plate cuz these things are going to be [ __ ] everywhere.
