uh why not go private with Hormel Foods and and flip it back onto the markets later if that's if that's something that they desire? Cuz it seems like they were getting a they must have been getting a pretty good price. Lots of free cash flow that can certainly support a buyout. Why not take it private?

Um I don't want to speak necessarily on behalf of the family, but they do own a good amount of it. Um not everyone in the family is is totally um like business-oriented. Um I mean, you kind of see this with like a the McIlhenny um uh Tabasco situation. As generations go by, they lose association with the mission of the business, and um some of them just want the the dividends. Um some of them don't know the complexity of a uh uh management buyout. Um but, I think uh the complexity plus now that the the company has been run by non-family persons since 2010, um I think it's just it's just that way, and it's it's easier.

Personally for me, unless I'm part of the unless I'm part of the private buyout, um and you know, owning it uh privately, um I do not want my shares bought out. I want to hold this thing until um as for as long as I I can.
