The next stock on our list and one of the big pieces of news from overnight is Ionic, ticker NQ, and it rose 12% in the pre-market after unveiling a realtime quantum error correction decoder that runs end to end on a single standard commercial CPU.

This solves a critical roadblock in the push towards fault tolerant quantum computing.

It is on the quantum names. And as mentioned at the beginning of the show here, Ionic is the one with the piece of news here, but in reality, pick your favorite quantum name. They were also trading up after hours.

Regetti, QBT, um, QN, Q&T, uh, INFQ, all of the quantum names that we've talked about before. We're seeing a move higher on this. Dwave, Verghetti, and other quantum stocks are trending overnight.

Quantum computing stocks moved higher in the after hours trading on Tuesday and Ionic ticker OQ surged 12 plus percent after hours to 45 plus the sector's biggest mover. In the regular session, the stock of the Maryland-based company edged about a half a percent higher to $40 and change.

That's according to Benzinga Pro. The company announced the industry's first end-to-end realtime quantum error correction decoder that runs on a single standard off-the-shelf CPU.

Ionic said the decoder was validated across benchmark circuits simulating 408 local cubits, more than 31 a.5 million quantum operations and adding just 0.02 processed overhead.

Really, really good numbers here. Nicholas Delosy, Ionic Quantum's research lead and papers co-author, said, quote, "Successfully validating real-time decoding across hundreds of logical cubits and over millions of logical operations is an important milestone."

End quote. The announcement came one day after Ionic announced a multi-year hardware agreement with South Korea's SDT Incorporated. Under the deal, Ionic will supply a superion 256 quantum computer and silicon vacancy quantum memory modules.

we did have that uh you know big move up in Ionic last night that uh took us over 10%. uh we ended up going a little bit higher in the uh premarket here, but we're starting to uh get well, we're giving some of that back now.

It's it's basically uh what the news was is that Ionic uh essentially eliminated uh or demonstrated they can eliminate a bottleneck uh in their um endtoend real-time quant quantum uh error uh correction.

So they and they only they achieved that by using a single uh off-the-shelf uh everyday CPU, a commercial CPU and and I think that's that's what the big breakthrough is here.

One of the things we talked about yesterday when you were talking about the bottleneck being removed from the piece of news is the new bottleneck that appeared of the 200 day and here we are already before the market even opens, we've traded above that.

And I think if we do get this open above the 200 day SMA which appears to be likely uh for now uh that's the moving average I would like to see hold. I mean you can go back uh on a daily chart and look uh through all the different uh interactions the prices had with this 200 day SMA uh for you know since it was like October 2024 we started getting these big moves and in that time since uh the 200 day SMA had provided some pretty significant uh support.

We did lose it in January of 2026 recaptured it in May of uh this year as well. Oops. Move that. Um, and then we lost it again. So, we're kind of oscillating above and beneath it right now.

So, and it was behaving as resistance uh in the over the summer. Uh, the runup into August. Uh, I'm sorry, run up into that movement in August. Uh, the attempt to recapture it in uh earlier this month. Finally, we're above it.

I think we just need to see if this can hold above the 200 day SMA. And I believe that if we do hold above the 200 day estimate, then we're going to be seeing some higher prints. $50 looks like the next big uh resistance level beyond the 200 day SMA.

So, those are the next two uh things I'd like to see happen. A hold above the 200 day SMA, recapture of that 50. I think that we're back in business with Ioni.

So, I think when it comes to these quantum names, let's just see what happens at the open. They may, you know, come back in a little bit more and once we they establish some uh some base of support, uh that might be the time to trade them.

But for now, uh because they've already had this big run overnight, um they're still kind of holding some of these uh higher levels that they made. But I think I'd be a little bit more cautious about what they do out of the open because right now, IonX trading beneath its VWAP.

Ionic really dropping losing. Uh it's it's looking like this is about to give everything back that it uh that it made the move on, which is, you know, unfortunate, but it's fine because I still think this is one of the best in breeds for the quantum names.
