All right, finally, Valero. I could probably put 10 energy stocks in here for, you know, charts to watch for September, but I'll just leave one of them. Uh, you know, the EMP names in particular like Valero.

You know, obviously this is uh in some cases a play on crude oil uh and uh and if you see crude oil prices going higher, but just in the last couple weeks as the conditions in the Middle East have been, let's say, in flux and and potentially a reescalation of that conflict, obviously there's going to be a lot of attention on the news headlines out of the Middle East and whether there's a reescalation, but we're seeing crude oil prices hold above $80 a barrel. And if that's the case, should be a pretty good thing for uh for stocks like VLOO. Certainly a tailwind to future growth.

Now, all of that aside, I just think this is a good chart. It reminds me of charts like Target and others that I've I've shown you that are just in primary uptrends, right?

And again, I sign off my market recap show with it's always a good time to own good charts. So, when a stock like VLOO is making higher highs and higher lows, and those higher lows tell you dip buyers are coming in and buying short-term weakness. when the price is above upward sloping moving averages like we see uh here on the chart when the RSI is consistently above 40 which tells you the momentum is strong enough to sustain that uptrend phase and the relative performance is so strong which means by owning a name like Valero I've been outperforming the S&P year to date big time when it checks all those boxes those are charts I generally want to consider for my portfolio so I think VLOO is an example of one of the many energy stocks that indeed check all those boxes.
