The next stock on our list is going to be Apple, ticker APL, and it was.19% lower in the pre-market after it undertook another round of layoffs. According to a Bloomberg report, jobs were slashed in the Fitness Plus audio content team.

He also had news over the weekend that iPhone demand might be even better than anticipated.

>> Peab's 125% on Apple early here. So that sold off and bounced hard. Great stuff there.

Good trade on that Apple trade. I'll tell you what, I saw that selling off and I never I none of the options kind of alerted me that, hey, we might be seeing a bounce. We went into 333 and then bounced what?

Two points hard. That was a great call there, Bigabes. I didn't have my eye on this one.

What do you got? Does um does Apple have any news coming up that could uh propel this higher because it's starting to look a little just a little tired. >> So So do they have news coming up?

No. But the one thing obviously we just had the the iPhone uh event recently. We also had news over the weekend that um the demand was greater than initially anticipated. Now, I'm not ever surprised by that.

Um, so we had that, but I don't know that there's any any catalyst coming up here that we should be aware of. I still think though from that daily that we pro Did we even fill that yet?

>> Yeah, we kind of did, didn't we? We kind of already filled that. So, that gap's kind of done here. 13. Now, do we have enough to break over the highs? That's a good question. I don't know.

I wonder uh what the seasonality indicates to us because I'm looking at what happened last year following their Apple event and there was some higher there was a move higher and then we consolidated from uh you know about this time in September last year all the way into about the middle of October and then we dropped uh significantly before going sideways again and recovering.

Now that's very interesting 13 because around that conference we talked about some of the seasonality. We talked about how Apple two out of three times is negative on the event day, but in the 60 days following the event, it is more often than not positive.

Now, I think that that I don't know how well that 60-day window lines up with the time frame that you were just speaking, but you might have Apple have one more move to the highs before reversing.

Graph said Apple pre-orders. Graph, when are those pre-order numbers due? Similar thing happened uh in 2024 as well. Um following the event we had a move up and about this time in 2024 it started to go sideways before it went lower and then uh about midocctober close to mid-occtober it uh it pushed into a uh a new all-time high.

So that's something I think we should watch for. there's going to be a drop coming in Apple uh at some point between now uh and midocctober or early October like around the 10th or so following that there there should be some sideways and recovery if there's any consistency with the way it's been you know trading over the past couple of years that's something to watch for that we could uh make a trade off of

Raph says October 16 is pre-order day. So that's the day that we're going to get data on that or is that the day that some of the pre-orders for the certain models ship? Remind me again exactly what's going on on that.

Bigab bees mentioned Apple earlier. That's good.

Apple still at the highs.

Apple went to 338. Bigab bees, that was such a good trade here this morning.

Apple that might be trying to take out the highs, although it seems to be going slowly.

All right. Um next story here on Apple. I know we've talked about Apple before. I still think it has another seven points to fill the top part of that gap. Although that first move from the low 300s has been great. We're currently sitting here at 331 in the pre-market.
