AAPL has strong trend structure but faces resistance at all-time highs; potential double top requires confirmation of breakout to new records.

So, Apple is a great example of that, isn't it? If you look at the past six weeks, you will find that we are recording higher highs and higher lows. We are above upward-sloping moving averages, and that is another key differentiating factor for this first group of stocks, isn't it?
Now, any subtle differences in Apple's chart, I would say the challenge with Apple is that it is facing its highest levels ever . So as not to focus too much on the short term, but if you look at what has happened here in the last two weeks, I am recording this on Monday, September 28, at the end of the third quarter here.
We can see that the stock has traded several times up to 340, and about a week ago we did that, and we had what you might call a 'shooting star' candle, which is that the open and close were near the lows of the day, with a long upper shadow.
So, when we retest the previous resistance and get that big upper candle , that's cause for concern. We are doing it again today, Monday. The market is still open, so it's too early to draw conclusions about this chart candle, but I would say the most important catalyst we need to see on Apple's chart is confirmation of a break of new record levels , which we haven't seen quite yet .
Therefore, there is a potential double top on Apple's chart.
Perhaps " Microsoft" and "Apple" are the two names that come to mind here.
