Oracle stock is expected to sell off after earnings; current rally is pre-earnings positioning hitting 200-day SMA resistance.

You also have uh I think Oracle earnings, right?
VR wants to take a look at Oracle. So, Oracle up 5.68%. Oracle back above the trend line. Oracle actually testing its 200 day. Be very curious to see if we can get a close above this on the 200 day for Oracle.
They have earnings in two days, too. So, that's probably going to be our biggest earnings report this week.
Uh I could have sworn I saw something about uh Oracle um like a growth constraint. Um, it must have been an article. I'm not going to try and read through all this, but there was something here about that. Um, what is the problem? What is the problem?
Uh, yeah, I I'd have to go through some of these articles, but there was some some news that was kind of uh, you know, giving a little bit of a negative side to to what could happen here ahead of earnings.
But where we are up at the uh 200 day SMA, I think this may provide some resistance. And if it does, it's probably going to gap fill down to Friday's candle. uh which I think would make a lot of sense if we can you know if we open tap that 200 day SMA and then just kind of give that back as we fill the gap to the downside to the support level of 160 and get the support there then I think your next uh move up to the 200 uh day after that would likely see a breakout but um I'm I'm thinking that uh we could see uh a rejection here of the 200 day SMA just for today though.
All right. Gary here says, "Last September, I took Oracle calls over 3,000% on earnings. Man, I hope you have a trade that's that banger this year." Lion says, "Oracle has piles of debt and it is a big concern."
Lion, how do you juxtapose that versus the RPOS that they still have outstanding? Yeah, they have some massive RPOs coming over the next few years.
Oracle, this ca this popped a little bit, came back in, still holding above the VWAP. That's good news. That might push a little bit higher. be tried to break its pre-market high of 274 and change could not.
Uh we also had an impulse candle that went up to about 277 or or close to it.
the only one that's bucking the trend is Oracle and my suspicion is that that's a move into the earnings that are potentially going to sell off And so that that's that's my gut there.
