TSLA stock performance is uncertain due to lack of transparency in the Cybercab event; bullish momentum may not hold without a clear catalyst.

This has not been done before for Tesla and it's kind of weird. Some might say they're either trying to be like Apple and they're trying to turn a little secretive here. Some people are calling it a little sussy.

we need to explain what the heck is going on here with the Tesla Cyber Cab event. Here's the scoop. It's embargoed. There will apparently not be a live stream. Apparently, no Elon Musk on stage.

That's as far as we'll be able to see until maybe maybe there'll be a stage until apparently the event is open. Except the event's apparently not taking place at Giga Texas. In other words, in Austin, Texas at the factory.

It's taking place at some miscellaneous secret address and the people who are going to the event had to sign an NDA beforehand which authorizes Tesla staff to limit that you can't bring a backpack.

You could only bring the things you could carry like a wallet. You know, you're supposed to demonstrate a wallet and maybe a phone. But even if you bring a wallet and a phone, they could still direct you not to take videos or photos of certain parts of this cyber cap launch event.

Apparently, uh you're allowed to bring a pre-approved plus one, but that plus one is not allowed to be an influencer or a content creator of really any kind.

So, all of that has been really tightly controlled. Apparently, this sort of uh meet us at this address in Austin, Texas started about 45 minutes ago, and everybody's kind of been like, "Hey, where's the news?

Where's the cyber cab live stream? When is the embargo going to end? Nothing. Literally no information on any of this."

Part of this could be because let's be real, okay? Let's just be real about it. We don't want to freak out. But part of it could be because when they did the Wii robot launch event, everybody started sending like posting videos online about the Optimus robots and half of the community online is like, "Oh, this is so cool."

Uh, and the other half of the community online is like, "Bro, these are just teaoperated. Like, it's obvious." And they show like the the robots falling over or whatever, right?

And then that's the stuff that goes viral. And then, you know, probably Elon and Tesla are like, "Oh my gosh, you know, our stock just cratered 7% in after hours, you know, back in 2024 because we didn't control the press around this event."

So, it's possible that they're trying to go a little bit more, you know, Appleike where they control everything. See, I mean, there's no live stream right here on the Tesla YouTube channel.

There's no scheduled live stream. You've got financial results. That's the last post over here. There's nothing on the XY YouTube channel for Robo Taxi. The last thing we got on uh Robo Taxi was uh a tweet from at Roboaxi.

And it looks like the following. It's uh this right here. Roboaxi now runs 6:00 a.m. to 7 or 10 p.m. 7 days a week. So uh basically not at night when the light is out. Uh and then over here we have uh twist twist that at night uh before the cyber cab uh when all through the Austin not a steering wheel stirring not a driver on sight.

So okay a little bit of a hype here but but no live stream you know no indication that Tesla is actually going to conduct any kind of live stream here.

In fact I've got I literally when I open up my feed I got a few of these things coming in. Look at this. No kids under 13 are allowed in the cyber cab, quote, at this time. It also does not have latch anchors for car seats.

Here's Titanium Tom saying it looks like Tesla uh isn't going to stream tonight's event as they have yet to share a link to the official stream. Tesla typically shares it a couple of hours before the event.

If anything changes, we'll be sure to post it here. Uh then there's this here that says, you know, Cyber Truck guys like so is there an event or is there not? Grock is basically going around arguing there is an event but you're not part of it.

In other words, like unless you're there, nobody gets to see it. Now you got Tesla Cyber or Roboaxi got to post no steering wheel, no pedals. Cool. And maybe, you know, later today, maybe tonight, we'll start getting some drops around, oh, this is what we got to experience or what we got to saw.

But apparently Tesla's trying to essentially cater what people are allowed to post or not post, which which is strange.

Now, um, shout out to Chuck here. I think he actually put together a pretty decent video, but Chuck put together a decent video of him kind of wandering around here and he kind of gives you a little bit more color on essentially the lack of uh press coverage that they're allowed to do for this event.

So, uh take a look at it uh for yourself here. We'll play this.

Uh there are cyber cabs everywhere. Uh Robbo and I think by the way that was intentional, right? This idea that we're going to gate this cyber cab actual launch to very specific areas and we're going to kind of make it feel like they're everywhere.

We're going to make it feel like it's saturated. Uh that's actually what we're seeing in some of the um commentary here as well that apparently the new robo taxi terms of service indicate that the cyber cab will only be available in Austin.

Uh it won't actually be available yet in other locations. So it's only going to be available in Austin uh based on at least some of the coverage uh at this time. you know, it could obviously expand, but my guess is there's some kind of guarding or gating of of information here on purpose because know that maybe they got a little embarrassed the last time.

Now, in fairness, they have also done a very nice job of updating the robo taxi website. That's fine. But, uh, let's keep going here with this um, uh, this video from Chuck because we get a little bit more color in Okay, so like are are we going to see anything?

Like, what what's the scoop? What are we allowed to hear or not hear?

A cyber Oh, it's a coupon code is expiring Friday. Damn it, Kevin. YOU WERE DOING SO WELL. YOU DIDN'T PITCH IT ONCE AND THEN YOU HAD TO P DAMN IT. >> Cab apparently changed in the app today.

So, cyber cab is included in that. um a few other details that you might just want to know about. The um the event has been embargoed for social media. Uh and what that basically means is Tesla's just reserving the rights of all content distribution until after the event is over.

Uh so that means that nobody is allowed to do any recording and filming and clipping pictures and uh first impressions videos or or anything like that while the event is going on.

That's Sorry, I shouldn't curse. >> They have set aside some time tomorrow for some of us, I don't know how many, maybe everybody to have special access to the robo taxi network.

Not specifically the cyber cab, I didn't know. So, what does that mean? So, like there's an event today or there's not an event today. I mean, it sounds like there's some kind of embargoed event today, but then you're not going to actually get access to the special event tomorrow.

So it so basically they're going to have um some of our email addresses specifically designated to get priority access to the uh the robo taxi network and some of which will be cyber caps but we won't have any control over that.

It could just be the regular Model Y like you guys saw me taking yesterday. Yeah. I mean, I I think really what this is is this is a move by Tesla to take as much or to maintain as much control as possible to basically say, look, we don't want influencers here who aren't going to be essentially pure positive for the company.

So, like this is actually one of the reasons I don't like going to events because it's actually really hard to speak freely. It's not just the fact that they could control kind of like what you film or what you don't film, but it's also like when you're at an event, you don't have Wi-Fi set up that's perfect for you.

You don't have all the infrastructure set up to comment live. You know, when I go to places and I go look at something, I go, "That's cool. That looks like a scam." I just call it out like it is.

And I think that's what Tesla doesn't want, right? They only want people who are going to get catered to show exactly one version of the Tesla Cyber Cabin. That's it. And then it's going to be only available for release at a certain period of time.

That's what I'm hearing here. I mean, again, call call me jaded or call me crazy, but but that's what I'm gathering here. So, you know, I'm not really releasing anything. You know, they did have a sign at NDA and things like that that they do have you signed, like when you go to the factory and stuff like that.

So, you know, respect that everybody should be doing the right thing and not posting any content until uh the embargo is over. Do the right thing and let yourself be censored. Okay, I'm being whatever.

Okay, if you're at the event, hey, great. That's wonderful. But a lot of people in fairness in the Tesla stock community were excited today to watch the future where we get mass saturation of cyber cabs through downtown Austin and we were ready to see the future.

We were going to robot. We robot, right? No, we're not allowed to because we weren't invited at the event. And they also very specifically said, you know, if a Tesla employee says you can't take a picture of that, you can't take a picture of that.

I'm not exact. That's crazy to me, you know, because I've been at events before and I've never been told that. The the most I've seen is they'll like restrict the length of the lens that you can have, which is also kind of weird, but I think they don't want you pe like hitting people in the audience if you have like one of those big old telephoto lenses, right?

Uh but that's the most I've seen in the past. They've generally been very open to like go video what you want, post what you want. Apparently, that's changed. ly sure what there is that they wouldn't want us to take pictures of.

Uh unless they're just trying to control the message and >> uh bingo and >> allow their branding and allow their uh perhaps launch videos and announcements um to go with with their plan rather than everybody kind of all at once putting out content.

But anyway, I figured I would just kind of give you guys a quick uh update of that. Uh there is no event at the factory though. It's all uh out in in public areas. I'm sure. >> Isn't that weird?

I don't know. It seems I mean maybe it's not because like who I guess it's actually better that the cyber cab is actually in public areas rather than on some kind of controlled course on like a studio set in Los Angeles or Hollywood uh or inside the factory.

So maybe it's a good thing they maybe have a few streets or whatever that uh have been prevetted and they could have You know what I would guess? Okay, this this is mega jade, but I think I'm right.

I think I'm right about this. My guess, and this is exactly what's going on, is they basically have a few blocks. This is a guess. It's speculation. # Don't sue me, bro. Again, uh but my guess is they have a few streets blocked off for this cyber cab event.

This is like if I was Elon and I really wanted to control the narrative, uh this is probably the way I would do it. So, let's say you've got these streets blocked off and those are or maybe not even blocked off but monitored, right?

Those are going to be your cyber cab streets and then it kind of they go back to sort of normal streets over here in purple. And then theoretically what you could do is you could have Tesla employees uh with overrides like I wouldn't be surprised if these cars are somehow numbered really obviously.

So with like a remote control, I mean that might not even be necessary because you can kind of track these all, but you know, as soon as a cyber cab does something stupid, you could have employees standing all around, you know, with little baseball caps on shutting these things down or like taking over if they need to.

Or they've just got a bunch of um, you know, virtual infrastructure that has the potential to remote override, not even there physically in person from the outside, but just in an office somewhere. and they can essentially teleaoperate take over in the event the slightest thing goes wrong.

So it looks like it's driving normally, but you actually have somebody who's just sitting in an office who's just like very smoothly taking over because in fairness, think about it.

You know, if their stock goes down 10% on this, that's $150 billion of market cap. You know, you get jaded Kevin showing up at the event going, "Look at the guy remote controlling the cyber cap.

Oh, loser. The stock's going to tank on that. THEY DON'T WANT THAT, RIGHT? SO, so this is where like, oh yeah, if you see certain people wearing this, you're not allowed to take photos of them.

You signed the NDA, you signed the contract, full control over this event. But it's very unusual because it's the first time they've done this. They've secured the streets and and they've done some things like that to protect the safety of the event.

>> Don't know how they're going to do that, but it is going to be secure, I'm sure. No backpacks and, you know, we can't bring things in. And I mean, whatever you can carry in your hand, you know, it's kind of like going to a no backpacks and only what you can carry in your hands, you know?

I mean, so like no batteries, no drones, no larger cameras, gimbals, things like that just wouldn't be allowed, which is would be a part of a typical YouTuber filming setup. So, you're basically down to iPhone, which honestly these days is pretty good anyway.

But your sports event or something like that. Any case, figured I would get this out quick before uh the embargo goes into effect and let you guys understand how it's working here in Austin. We'll see you guys later. Bye-bye.

So, we talked about no 13year-old or under. There's no latch. Uh, we've talked, let's see here, there's a little footage circulating of just folks actually getting into a cyber cab, which is always kind of cool to see, you know, taking a laptop like, "Ah, I'm going to go work inside of the cyber cab."

And there's no steering wheel, there are no pedals. That's all part of the idea here is branding uh this as as truly a vehicle that cannot be controlled by a human in person. Now, theoretically, could it be TA operated?

Heck freaking yeah. Uh, I did also h see this commentary about the embargo and it comes from Boomer Mama. So, she says, "Can't say more, but so grateful." All right, let's uh let's listen to her commentary.

Let's keep going in terms of the commentary about the pay who's paying the hotel room. >> So that and then here so just so that you all know we have a social media embargo. >> There it is.

We have a social media embargo. This is the first time that Tesla has decided to do a social media embargo. And just to be very clear about what that means is you sign an NDA, you're not allowed to take pictures of video or video of things that they do not want you to take pictures or video of.

You're not allowed to bring in camera equipment, uh, backpacks, gimbals. Your plus one is not allowed to be an influencer. Everybody has to be handpicked and pre-approved. The event scheduled to start at 4:45 p.m. Austin time with nobody allowed to post anything until the event is over.

And even after the event is over, you're still restricted by those terms that you signed saying you're not going to post things they told you not to post. Again, some people might look at this as very Applelike, trying to kind of control the narrative.

Apple is famous for takedown requests. Like, if somebody's live streaming an Apple event at the same time as the Apple event's happening, they will call up YouTube and shut your live stream down.

They will strike your YouTube channel. They do not want anybody playing their footage. So, like there is precedent for companies doing this. This is just the first time that Tesla has decided to do it.

And it happens to come after the 2024 Wii robot event where a lot of people were too obsessed with the robots being teleaoperated or worse falling over and that may have distracted from the narrative a little bit. Anyway, here's

The stock did very well today. Uh that this morning in our uh alpha report, we actually shouted Tesla out before the market open and said, "Hey, we're in a lowvall setup." Just so you know, in case you ever trade options or whatever, you usually want to buy options when volatility is low.

So you look at like five or 10 day historic volatility. You generally want to buy when the historic volatility is low and you generally want to sell when that historic volatility is high.

just in the meantime here you could take a little look at uh Tesla's chart uh which is fantastic. It did it did great today. Uh and that's that's wonderful. But again uh you know is that actually going to hold up if we don't get an event which was sort of the basis of volatility going up? Uh TBD I guess.

the historic V for Tesla is on the lower end of the mid-range. Usually around an event, you get a big spike. So there's often an opportunity. But if everybody was expecting an event today and then you don't actually get an event, then you know, it's all going to come down to what kind of releases we get that are more catered or uh guarded.

Tesla releases new video on Cyber Cap. unsupervised full self-driving. It's cool that cyber cap.

they're showcasing here Austin City Limits ACL live. So we've got, you know, some footage here of which is very similar to kind of the robo taxi experience, somebody reading a book, somebody watching a video, you got some branding around cyber cab, but that's basically the extent of what there is at the moment.

And the future has arrived, but it's only arrived for the people invited to the event until the embargo is over. I do kind of like the way they did this. This looks very nice. I think the graphics are fantastic.

But that's basically all we have to go on for the next few hours. So we'll see what happens.
