It's official now. The Cybercab launch event has just ended, and I must say it left something to be desired, although there were some really exciting things here.

First and foremost, Elon Musk was not present at the event, which surprised many people. Instead, we got a hint that we would be able to book CyberCab vehicles at some point in the future, and we got the ability to book potential fleet vehicle orders for them, as well as a hint in the user manual that we would be able to pick them up in the future.

But there was no actual sale, no prices, no real orders, no actual pre-orders, no Elon as I said, no general goals about the number of vehicles we would launch, or the number of states we would be in, or expectations.

It was like, "Hey guys, we've got about 280 to 290 licenses to operate robot taxis in Austin, Texas , and we're now listing CyberTrac." It does not contain any pedals. It has a brake-by-wire system, which is pretty cool.

Oh, yes, wonderful. Go and check it out. This is sort of what this event was like. Now, we will look at some pictures here . First and foremost, this is the registration page here.

Oh , that looks interesting . Another thing that seems a bit interesting is that you can now get the complete manual for the actual vehicle. Apparently, we have a note here indicating that CyberCap primarily uses the Unreal Engine, a trademark of Epic Games, in its computing system .

You also have this small note about quality here on page 35. You may notice a few miles/ kilometers on the odometer when you receive your Cyber Cab. This is the result of comprehensive testing to ensure the quality of your Cyber Cab.

So, what is this really, the kind of compliance disclosure that comes with buying a new car? And so, here it is. CyberCap's compliance and safety information. So, one day when you own your own Cyber Cab, this is what it will look like.

Of course, one of the interesting things we've heard Elon talk about in the past is things like automatic seatbelt pretensioners. There are comments here indicating that these seat belts are also automated.

The car seats do not have a "latch" system or child seat anchoring system. Instead , to install child safety seats , both passenger seats are equipped with an Automatic Pull-Out (ALR), a feature that locks the belt in place when fully pulled beyond the required length.

Simply put, it means there is no "latch" system to secure your child's car seat with direct pressure. Instead , it is the system that was present in all cars; When you were a child and pulled the seatbelt too tight, it would start making a clicking sound and pull you inwards.

This is designed to hold a car seat or other items in place while driving. That's sort of its purpose. It's not meant to be just annoying. But that's all there is to it .

Okay, then. However, there is some enthusiasm surrounding these seatbelt pretensioners, a technology that Mercedes has had for a very long time. I know that many Mercedes engineers have already moved to Tesla, and brought some of this technology with them.

But what's really interesting is that these tensioners may be activated using touch technology, apparently, to wake you up if you fall asleep while riding in a Cybertruck.

Therefore, it can shake you because the car doesn't move unless you're wearing a seatbelt. But it can also be a tool that tells you: "Wake up!" "Get out!". That's pretty cool. He is somewhat intelligent. I love that. I think this is great.

There was a presentation, but again, Elon was not there . Therefore, there are videos of several different people performing this show. It is a presentation that lasts about 15 minutes.

I'll just give you the summary . They have started using the " unboxing" process for these vehicles, which I find wonderful. I shouldn't say " unload" because it sounds like we're making a YouTube video to unload something.

It is called the " unboxed manufacturing process".

The basic idea is: "We will try to manufacture these vehicles not on a long assembly line , but in places where we can recycle the entire vehicle or manufacture its components, to say, three main components of the vehicle, and then assemble them together."

"The goal is to reduce the length of the manufacturing lines in the facility,

which is what they argue in this interview or presentation that they have not just reached a million miles of unsupervised automated taxi driving." This is actually quite impressive. It's an achievement in itself.

Many people are asking, "Wait, how will you manage to cover all those miles when you only have 45 cars?" "They somehow managed to reach a million miles, which is truly impressive ."

If we divide this number by 45 vehicles, we get 22,000 miles, and dividing by approximately 360 days, the result is about 61 miles per day. This seems logical, but it remains an impressive achievement.

This means they have mastered the technology needed for the Austin market to confidently introduce these "Cyber Cab" vehicles into their fleet. It actually seems that they are navigating a wider area than just , how can we put that?

A closed and monitored area accessible only to a very small number of people.

In fact, these Cyber Cabs appear to be traveling a very wide distance from Austin, Texas, which is impressive .

Regarding the "non-box" manufacturing process, we will see more videos here. You can see footage showing what this process looks like when it is disassembled. So, in this non-boxy manufacturing process, you see the front section disassembled, then the middle section, and then the back section.

There are also two sides, so there may be five components that are assembled together like puzzle pieces in this manufacturing process.

In addition to commenting on the non-box manufacturing process , there is talk of a brake- by-wire system, which is to be expected when you don't have a foot pedal to operate a hydraulic pump, isn't it?

Any brake fluid pressure to push the brake discs. Instead , it operates the brakes electrically. This makes perfect sense when you have a fully autonomous vehicle that does n't have brake pedals. Honestly, this is kind of amazing. not bad.

Let's take a look at more of the video here , but I must say we were a bit disappointed that Elon wasn't there this time . We were treated in the past at the "We Robot" event with Elon Musk in attendance.

But this is Omar Holmar's blog where he publishes his posts. You could see a lot of Tesla employees just outside the event, especially wearing those yellow Crocs. This...this is interesting.

Good for them, and man, brag about it. I bet it's similar to " Pokémon". Anyway,

here's what the Cybertruck looks like. People were invited , well, to go on Cybertruck rides. I loved the covers over the wheels. I think it looks rather cool. A very simple and basic car, as they try to minimize everything possible to reduce costs.

There is no glass roof, which reduces the need for excessive air conditioning that you might need in an untinted glass vehicle. Or worse, the roof is made of glass and then you have to pay for shading, right?

This is, well, another additional cost. This cost has been removed here.

You enter the vehicle through these doors which open in a reverse manner, and when you close the door and fasten your seatbelt, the car will activate the robot taxi ride. It's kind of amazing.

The doors also open as you approach the vehicle, possibly via Bluetooth or other technology. But it's not bad.

It's a two-seater car. It is free of extras, and there are no drawers for storage. I'm not even sure there are cup holders, but you can clearly watch videos, control the temperature inside , and I was impressed.

I didn't feel that. Look, it's a bit like, honestly, a Crown Victoria in the back where you feel a kind of, how can I say that? You know, when I worked in the police force, we had all these plastic frames around the car.

It looked inexpensive and durable , but I guess that's what she wanted. If you're going to use these cars in a fleet, you don't want people tampering with and destroying your property.

It really does seem that they got rid of as many unnecessary additions as possible .

Anyway, you can see Omar spending a lot of time viewing these "Unreal Engine" pictures here. It's truly amazing . They did a great job here. But the car actually traveled a good distance here.

So, I was impressed by the distance they allowed us to travel. I love the orange look of the fully autonomous driving system here. I mean, this is a robotic taxi, and it actually works.

It appears to be heading south of Austin now. So, crossing the bridge towards South Austin, into an area that some call the " Yabi" area a bit. But this is truly impressive. So, it's not bad.

We will also review more pictures, but there are some things to keep in mind. Again, there is no Elon, and no expectations here. We believe that 45 Cybertrucks are being added to the fleet.

GigaTexas factories have a production capacity of 125,000 two-seater vehicles.

It is considered the safest, most affordable, and scalable solution because you do not need lidar or maps, although we believe this area was thoroughly vetted before allowing this release, so to speak.

Although it's great that they already have a million miles of unsupervised, self- driving robot taxis. They also stated that, with regard to the "emptying the box" process, they achieved a 50% reduction in the size of the production line and claim that they can increase production, although they did not tell us how far they believe they can increase this production.

There are no real insights here into the potential profit margins per share in relation to the production of these vehicles. There are no guidelines on when these vehicles may be available for purchase.

Whatever the case may be . Here you can see Omar ending up getting out of the Cybertruck. It actually seems as if it's completely unsupervised. I know, but I don't see, to the best of my knowledge, any employees standing nearby, escort vehicles, or anything like that .

This actually looks like it's operating as a fully autonomous command fleet. That's pretty great.

I'm a little curious, why are you stopping here? Is it because there is another car on the road and you don't think it's wide enough to pass ? That's really interesting.

The video is somewhat cut off here . But there is clearly room to pass through. This car is clearly parked on the right. I mean, maybe it stopped because of the traffic here. This is possible.

They have a red light. This might be the reason. But there is still a very large empty space. But that's okay . Those are small things that can be adjusted over time.

You can see that here. Yes, so they are, it's because they are at a red light. This is my initial impression, sort of. But fast forward a little again, you can see that it decides to stay far back, which appears to be behind the next vehicle.

I will assume that once this traffic passes through, it will start. We will give her the best chance to doubt here. It's very good overall. As you know, it's not as big as people had hoped, but it's actually quite impressive.

You can see the simple seats here, and the simple carpets. There is a staff that makes sure people don't touch things. This is understandable. And again, you have a wire braking system, which is pretty cool.

This is unprecedented and truly remarkable. We already have wired routing in CyberTrack, which is great. CyberTrack, to some extent , and since I own one, was probably one of the factors that paved the way for this.

Here Sawyer shares a little about what the app looks like, and it's very similar to any ordinary robot taxi ride. Do you remember when I went on my trip in an automated taxi ? I enjoyed it.

You have more people posting snapshots here of their CyberCab trips . It looks very good. I mean, this shows that this event could launch a Cyber Cup for the public. Now, you'll see about 50 CyberCab vehicles roaming Austin. It's actually quite exciting.

There is no one in the car. You don't see a clearly visible escort vehicle. You can't see people outside clearly. I mean, there might be some remote operation going on here. I'm sure that's the case , especially if there's an emergency stop or some kind of request for intervention.

That's perfectly understandable. But it gives you a hint that there might be room for expansion here. That's truly impressive.

As for Austin. This is where many investors are still wondering, "Okay, great." When will we surpass Austin? When will we be able to expand the reach of these cars to hundreds of cities, as we thought we would see sooner after the "We Robot" event?

I still think this is great. I think overall this is exciting. Apparently, Starlink will be integrated to the point where you can watch 4K video, which is great. You can watch some of "Me Kevin's" videos in 4K resolution. If you wish .

Some of the other things I've seen other people posting are computers, or you know, these are CyberCap computers. Let's phrase it correctly. Kudos to Sawyer for this video.

But ultimately, I think Morgan Stanley was expecting more insights into expansion. Oh, Omar also confirms that you can choose any destination in Austin. This is really good, to be honest.

Oh, are you all following predetermined routes or do you choose your destinations? Omar says you can choose any destination. This is impressive. Oh, I'll give them credibility and credit for that. I think this is really great.

Many people are now posting videos about their Cybertrucks. Regarding their tours, in general, it's more like "Okay, that's great." We have now gone from having no new Cybertrucks in production to 47.

It's a slow rollout, but the point is that it's a continuous rollout. So, good news from that perspective.

Is this the massive scale we were hoping for? Will we be in this number of cities with this number of thousands of production by this time next year or so? no. But again, sometimes those estimates are far from reality anyway.

Morgan Stanley believed this could be a pivotal moment where the stock could be revalued upwards if they gave us a really good view of shipping these cars here, there, and everywhere, and that we were expanding into all these different areas. We didn't get that.

We might need to map those areas. We don't know. In that interview , they said, "Hey, we do n't need lidar." You know, we don't need to wait for all these maps. In the interview and presentation they gave, they said, "We rely on vision data."

But many suspect that one reason we're limiting ourselves to Austin is that Austin may have been thoroughly validated with a lot of marginal data by actually driving all of that and handling all the exceptional cases and pre-programming it, so that Austin has essentially been mapped out by intensively overseeing the rollout of self-driving taxis over the past year , which of course slows expansion across the country.

No, no, no. Overall, it's great. I wish Elon was here. I wish we had more details about future plans, but I must say, it's not bad. It's like: That's it, now we have yellow cars in the fleet.

We'll see where we take things from here. Why don't you announce these things that you told us here? I feel like no one else knows this. We'll try out a few ads and see how things go.

you are going to get some give back on Tesla after the um event yesterday. Uh you know although long-term I think uh uh it's uh you know there's some reasons to be optimistic.
