All right. Um next story here on Apple. I know we've talked about Apple before. I still think it has another seven points to fill the top part of that gap. Although that first move from the low 300s has been great.

We're currently sitting here at 331 in the pre-market.

We talked about buying that when Apple was holding 300. Told you that was going to go higher. Chart confirmed it and sure enough, that's exactly what we did.

Now, we do have some more news here because Apple iOS 27 is out and there are eight features that you should know about in this major upgrade. I would like to get feedback from you folks that use iPhones. Are any of these needle movers?

And I would also not rule out extrapolating that into the holiday season here. Uh as phones might be given as gifts. And and actually the other thing we've talked about the phone financing program that a lot of the carriers have.

It wouldn't surprise me if those that are kind of pinched and feel like they can't necessarily spend as much this holiday season because of inflation and all of the other things going on.

It wouldn't I wouldn't be surprised if instead they use the financing option that you have to upgrade a phone for a family member or a friend or something of that nature. So, um, I could actually see this being beneficial into the holiday season, but that's just my own little rant.

Apple, ticker APL, began rolling out its iOS 27 on September 14th, bringing an Apple intelligence expansion, Siri AI, and systemwide performance changes after unveiling of the software at the Worldwide Developer Conference 26.

The release lands days after Apple introduced its iPhone 18 Pro lineup.

The tech giant's iOS 27 is supported on iPhone 11 and newer models, plus the iPhone SE 2 second generation and later. That leaves the iPhone XS, XS Max, XR, and older devices behind.

Apple Intelligence and Siri AI require iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max or iPhone 16 and later, meaning many phones receiving iOS 27 are still going to miss the biggest AI editions.

And on the back of that, does that lead to more of an upgrade cycle? That's why I want to know what you folks think about all this. Siri AI can search personal context across messages, emails, and photos, act across apps, and answer questions about on-screen content.

Apple also added a dedicated Siri app for revisiting conversations. The upgrade has already drawn analyst attention. Siri AI is rolling out in English first and a new Siri mode in camera lets users point at objects, ask questions, and take actions directly from the viewfinder.

Spatial reframing changes composition uh spatial reframing, excuse me, changes composition after capture extends uh extend expand image boundaries. An upgraded cleanup removes larger distractions with more realistic fill.

Safari can now group tabs automatically by topic. and a new notify me feature within the browser can watch web pages for changes such as price drops or restocks and then send alerts.

Let me ask you a question about that. How many of you would use that feature? I I know that there are some collectors in our group here. How many of you folks buy new internet drops where this alert might be helpful for you?

And how many of you hawk prices on sites like Amazon or or some of the other deal sites? Would you actually use this for trying to buy items at a specific price if those price drops happen?

This sounds good on paper. I'm curious from the group that actually do a lot of online shopping. How useful is this really?

I kind of want to sift through uh some of the stuff on on the top there. Messages in mail can now offer contextbased one-tap suggestions such as adding a reminder or a note. And Apple says these suggestion these suggestions are initially only available in English, although other languages will expand.

Call context can pull useful details from other apps during business calls, including confirmation information that's stored in mail. Ask to browse lets parents approve new websites, and time allowance and schedules manage app access, while communication safety expands to intervene around violent or gory images and videos.

Apple says app launches can now be up to 30% faster. Photos can load new images up to 70% faster and Airdrop transfers up to 80% faster. Liquid Glass also gets improved contrast controls and a customization slider.

Apple recommends backing up through iCloud or a computer first, then updating while connected to Wi-Fi and power. You should also check available storage before installing, though the new update file size will vary by your device model.

So again, for those of you that are Apple users, let me know if any of these things move the needle. I'm especially interested if you've already started using some of these things.

And I'm also interested if some of the alert things that would cause you to open your wallet for a product or service in the future is something that you would use. I suspect that stuff like that would get touted, reported, and expanded if that's the case.

So, let's look at Apple. Apple's been running. It's hot. It's got an upward five. It's got an upward, what is this, a 10 or a 20? A 10 on the weekly.

So, what do we want to do? We want to wait for a pullback that gives us a bounce.

if you're looking for, hey, I I want to pick up Apple on the bounce and I think it's got some legs. See, nothing in the market's breaking down. Yeah, it's just getting slightly weaker.

So if we stare Apple down, we could easily go, listen, if it comes into 300, it's a buy. Why? That's what we said the last time it came into 300. And that worked.

Exactly. And so we're looking at the earnings candle. We're saying, "Hey, listen. This is where it's going to come to."

We believe 300 is the shortput area to watch for October at this juncture. We also anticipate that we probably are not going to get above 350. And so we look at 350 and we say, you know what, I'm going to sell the 350 355 call spread for credit.

Now, you might go, what do you mean? Look at the delta. It's positive. So, we're going to make money if the chart moves higher. We're going to make money if the chart goes all the way to 300.

Because it's a credit, it's bounded on the high side because the market is sideways, but we're collecting a credit on the short put event.

So, that we might say, hey, if it does come into that area, it's very likely to bounce. If it doesn't bounce, you know what? I might decide I want to take the stock or you can roll it into the next area.

But you've got $2.32. So, it's really $297 before you're in the loss category and $357 if you're in the loss category. So, there's lots of room.
