Everyone uses it. Go to morningstar.com and you will see a small search bar at the top. Search for FAVRX. This is the Fidelity Freedom Index 2055 Fund Premium 2 Class. You will see a tab there called Performance.
I clicked on Performance and scrolled down. I can see 10 years of data, up to 2016, showing me the total return on investment. So, I see 9.4 in 2016, 20.5 in 2017, -7.1 in 2018.
Great. So, we have the total performance of this investment.
