LITE — All updates

Specifically right here on LITE, notice we've got a declining trend line generated from May 12th connected over to this next major pivot on May 7th or on August 17th, and today price action pierced that range and have since now retreated back down to close the day basically right here on this declining trend line.

Now, so we haven't officially closed above, but we are on literally the warning track of closing above and generating another potential breakout for LITE.

Last March, Nvidia invested $2 billion in both Lumentum (ticker: LTE) and Coherent (ticker: COHR). They are two companies that manufacture lasers and transmitters/receivers. Nvidia has entered into significant purchase commitments with both of them.

While the industry's shift toward integrated optics is worrying Wall Street, the development of AI infrastructure is currently adding optical ports at a much faster pace than the integration of lasers into integrated optics.

Therefore, I believe laser sales will remain strong for years to come. In fact, Lumintum's revenues more than doubled last year.

Next up guys into Light. Now, Light, we highlighted this before, this declining trend line where price jockeyed around. We can see a failed breakout attempt here, price retreated back, and then we broke out here on this candle, confirmed with the continued push up here on this August 17th.

And Lumenum, ticker symbol LIT, which makes lasers to replace copper wires inside data center racks.

Lummentum doesn't report their data center numbers anymore, but their revenues grew by 83% year-over-year, which probably didn't come from telecom companies.

Lumenum reported a billion dollars in revenue last quarter, which was up 109% year-over-year. Adjusted earnings per share came in at $3.23 23 versus just 88 a year ago, which means their earnings are up 267% from last year.
