AAPL rally from earnings drop makes gap fill a potential trigger for a swing trade short.

Another one I'm watching closely is Apple. Apple trading off of its recent lows. Remember, this was the drop on earnings, so it's had a really nice rally back. If it fills this gap, this is starting to get interesting as a swing trade short.

Very intriguing level right there. So, I'll keep that on our radar.

AAPL is a strong buy; new leadership and foldable iPhone support upside to $400.

Another option you presented to us, not necessarily about buying on the dip , but definitely about buying at a turning point. We will talk about Apple with John Ternos taking over, and also before the " Sunrise and Shine" event where expectations point to the possibility of us getting a foldable iPhone.

AAPL is trending higher; a gap fill is expected.

So is Apple. So is SpaceX. Tesla calls on the back of that.

Yeah, it is. SpaceX 2, Palunteer, Apple, all having good mornings.

Gman mentioning Apple is about to take off crossing 327. Did anyone take the um Apple long gap fill trade that I talked about a number of days? Is anyone in this because it looks like we're on the march up towards 340.

“Should You Buy Apple Stock Before it Launches a Foldable iPhone? | AAPL STock Analysis”
$AAPLBearish
Do not buy AAPL; valuation is too high (P/E 33, price $316 vs intrinsic $214) with ~30% downside risk.

Apple recorded an impressive 16 % increase in total revenue to $109.4 billion . Furthermore, the management team anticipates another 10% growth in the next quarter, which will end in September.

This is even before the launch of Apple's foldable phone, which is expected to be released perhaps during the upcoming holiday season . Does all of this make Apple stock a good investment opportunity to buy?

Apple benefits from a user base of over 2.5 billion devices worldwide .

AAPL is performing well but trades in a choppy pattern requiring tactical entries; holding ~322 could lead to a move above ~328.

stock has been a disaster 7 has been a disaster besides Apple's been pretty good you Apple um went as high as what yesterday went as high as 22 328ish. Um but you've had to be in a rhythm with this because it hasn't been that clean.

You know, you've you've had to actually this gap is way now. So um meaning you know you had to you had to be in here uh sell some strength, buy some back, sell some strength, buy some back. you're not getting like three-day sequences, which is what we like, you know, unfortunately that that's the case and that's the the market we live in.

$AAPLBearish
AAPL expected to move slightly lower based on historical patterns and weak support levels.

Let's look at some of the big caps. We got Apple right out of the top of its bowlinger bands. Um moving around these pivots have not been very good. The support lines, these red ones, not been fantastic.

They seem to be just kind of floating out here. But the blue bowlinger bands have been working great. See like long signal here. We saw breakdown, push up, exit here, push up to the top of the bowlinger band, drop down, hit it, come back, and that bowlinger is compressing right now.

So, where do I think this this is going to lead us? Well, I think that Apple's going to be slightly softer based on past past action.

Speaker is long AAPL based on Tim Cook's successful leadership and massive shareholder returns.

One of the charts that we spoke about last week that Ed Zitron just steamrololled over was Nvidia's earnings, net income over the last 12 months compared to Amazon, uh, compared to Apple.

And I said, "Holy [ __ ] this is remarkable." And he go, "No, it's not. No, it's not. It's not real. It's all the markups." "No, it's not. It's not the markups." We looked at operating earnings.

It's the exact same chart. Operating earnings for Nvidia, what the business is actually generating.

Apple's current dominance based on iPhone/services is temporary; it will be overtaken by AI-focused competitors due to its lack of proprietary AI infrastructure.

Apple up 4.6%

Speaking of capex and who isn't spending capex? Apple remains the second largest company on Earth purely on the iPhone. You can't make this up. Crazy services and margins. They don't own any frontier models, they don't have any massive dedicated data center infrastructure.

No AI to speak of. They outsource it all. They just make phones and it's the second biggest company in the world.

Uh you've got Apple up about 2% uh which is fantastic. I mean just really riding the back of that uh ultra chip that we talked about yesterday. Really really impressive.

$AAPLBullish
AAPL technicals are bullish overall across multiple timeframes, though a recent weekly breakout failure is a negative signal.

Looks It looks nice. It looks bullish. Um across the board. You know, the daily, the weekly, the monthly. All look good. I don't like the breakout failure. Uh if you especially if you pull up the the weekly chart, we had a pop and then I think they reported earnings and then gap down, so I don't like that part.

But overall, the picture looks looks pretty good. It's bullish.

“Chris Versace Sees Buying Opportunities in SPX Amid Iran, Fed Volatility”
$AAPLBullish
Leadership transition to John Ternus is a positive opportunity for Apple to refocus on products; stance is cautiously optimistic.

Let's talk about you the 20-day. You actually noted that on the S&P 500, you were watching the 20-day, right? What does that tell you? So, well, we're below the 20-day now. So, you know, normally what we want to see is a positive test to that support level today, tomorrow.

Based on developments, doesn't look like we're going to get it. So, the next level of support is going to be the um 100 day moving average. Sorry, the 50-day moving average. And that that's a little over 1% away.

Next one after that is the 200 day moving average that clocks in a little over 3%. So, not a lot of downside arguably, uh, but potential areas of support that we will need to see that they hold.

And if they do, that can bring about some buying opportunities, you know, for others in the market, maybe even for us at the Pro Portfolio.

“OpenAI *JUST* Went Mega Deep on Apple's Stock. Should you?”
$AAPLNo side taken
Apple is not a short candidate due to AI-driven Mac growth potential, but current valuation makes it unattractive for new long positions.

Uh, in fact, it's about 49% faster than the M5. No. So, you can't just stop here at memory bandwidth. And for the rest of this video, you'll see exactly why.

Now, that works great for a lot of purposes. Like, we'll go through some examples of that in a moment. And there's some advantages to having just a bunch of those working on their own individualistic agentic or AI tasks.

That's fine. You know, we handle a lot of that with our startup, Reinvest. But what's remarkable about the M5 is when you slide over, you can actually get up to 512 GB of unified data where you're only or or unified RAM essentially, whereas you're only getting 32 on the GPU.

“Amazon SUED by FTC, Stocks Struggle, Bears are Back - BUY?!?!?”
$AAPLNo side taken
Apple is not a short candidate due to AI-driven Mac demand, but current valuation and memory supply constraints make it unattractive to buy at these levels.

It's not just an Apple story. It's the access to memory through or via Apple. That might be what this is.

Most of the advanced models of the Mac Minis and Mac Studios are appealing for developers have been out of stock for months. The memory shortages impacting Apple.

Apple has begun building its own servers using Mac chips. However, they're strictly for the internal private cloud. But Open AI going shopping from Apple. I mean, Apple is now basically now becoming this supply like Nvidia like supplier. I mean, that's pretty incredible.

“Tim Cook's Final Day as Apple CEO: Analyzing AAPL Price Action & Options Trade”
$AAPLBullish
AAPL has attractive upside potential due to a breakout attempt near key technical support levels ahead of an iPhone event.

Let's focus on Apple's chart going back to August 24th of 2011 up until today. That's the entirety of Tim Cook's tenure as CEO as John Turnis is set to take over tomorrow. Company's stock has soared over 2,000% during Tim's time leading the company.

Cook's impact on Apple is the focus of the morning trade. I mean, Tim Cook took over. You showed that chart there, August 2011, and he stepped in for Steve Jobs, who widely then and now is still thought of as one of the greatest innovators of our time.

So, he had big shoes to fill. Now, we're having the same conversation for John Turnis. But on his last day as CEO, we thought we might take a look back at some of the things that happened under Tim Cook in what seemed like impossibly large shoes to fill that have only gotten bigger.

He's had 15 years uh as CEO, but he did join Apple back in 1998. So, a very long tenure with the company. That isn't over. He is staying on. He's just not staying on as the CEO.

EKS, reminding us that today is Tim Cook's last day as the CEO of Apple. So, we'll see how Apple trades here today. I don't think it forbods anything. Uh I know we're waiting for the Apple conference on the 9th.

They're going to talk about the folding phone, which John Turnis developed, by the way. Um, so we'll see. I I don't I don't think we're here to expect anything from Apple today.

I think we're just kind of gearing up for the September 9th event.

How about Apple? Well, Apple's got a sell signal and it's been drifting sideways since the October 1st fourth sell signal. And you can see how the fear and greed has really just fallen off a cliff.

It's into the fearful section right now. So, Apple, objectively speaking, is a four of nine.

“The Rally Is Still Working, But It’s Getting Selective”
$AAPLNo side taken
AAPL is technically stretched following recent advances driven by pricing and product catalysts, though it remains a notable large-cap stock to monitor.

Let's take a look at Apple, which again is another M7 name. It advanced back above its shorter-term moving average, and a number of key drivers here. Apple did raise their subscription prices last week.

Also, this is viewed as being an advance going into the company's September new product showcase again. So, in the end, we are a bit stretched. We're back above the shorter-term moving average, but we do have that MACD dipping into positive territory, black line up through the red.

So, certainly one to keep an eye on in your larger-cap space.
