we'll start with Tesla. Can you see the weekly chart of Tesla? So, we have an average cycle length here of 26 bars. And you can see that we had this uh very bearish candle um back in July that broke through the cycle low support and found some support down here near the 100% extension level.

Well, that would have been very early for a low. It's almost midcycle there. And so, we created this uh resistance zone using that high and that low. And this week it got up uh into the upper resistance zone there and we're getting a strong rejection from that level.

So expecting a cycle trough to form sometime between September 28th and November 6th. There's the earnings date somewhere in that time period as well. So we'll see what happens with that.

But we do have a momentum shift uh with the reversal scout here based on this move up into the resistance zone. But uh we'll likely get some chop uh choppy action lower now um based on the timing window and also this rejection.

Heartiest congratulations to the entire Tesla team on the official launch of their dedicated robotic taxi, the "CyberCab". Not much for Tesla customers, not yet, but for Tesla investors and the company itself, this is huge. The future has arrived .

In this video, I will explain why CyberCab is so important, especially for Tesla investors. What most people misunderstand and do not realize about Tesla's "Cyber Cab".

We'll have more news when we get to Waymo, and probably every week when we talk about Tesla in relation to CyberCab and self- driving taxis.

Moving on to Tesla. It started the week at 353, and it feels like you've been on a roller-coaster ride. The stock went up, then down, then up again, then down again. Tesla's stock has remained relatively stable this week.

It finished the week at 354. This comes as it did again, with that surge just before the CyberCup event, which I believe was yesterday. The headlines say the CyberCup launch didn't live up to expectations, at least from a stock market perspective.

And then there's the NHTSA, the government agency that monitors traffic on highways and the like, launching an investigation into whether this car meets safety standards, given that it does n't have brakes, a steering wheel, or anything like that .

Now, it appears to be a fully autonomous vehicle, not one of those passengerless robot taxis , but a regular car. I think it was a Model Y. Reportedly, it was operating in Full Self-Driving mode.

It was attempting a left turn, and unfortunately, someone was struck and seriously injured in the incident. It seems to still be under investigation, but it's a sad situation. Meanwhile, Tesla is highlighting its Full Self-Driving safety record, while the EU considers expanding its approval.

I think at this point, everyone can agree, or not everyone. I mean, there's always someone in my comments with " Elon syndrome, " and I'm telling you guys, if you have a problem with Elon Musk and Tesla, that's your problem.

Don't try to make it mine . I don't care if you don't like Elon Musk. I don't care if you do n't like Tesla. I really don't care. It's not my problem. I bought Tesla stock a long time ago, and I've made a substantial profit from it.

We're talking about a six-figure sum that I don't care about. That said , I think we can all agree that Full Self-Driving is probably safer than most human drivers, maybe not all, but Most of them probably will.

And we'll see what the EU decides on that. Is it perfect ? Is fully autonomous driving perfect? As someone who uses it 85% of the time, I'd say it isn't. Now, August registrations for their regular, people-driven cars, like the Model Y and Model 3, have surged in France and Denmark, but declined in Norway and Sweden.

In fact, sales in France jumped 280% and in Denmark 104%, as rising petrol prices worldwide push people to reconsider electric vehicles.

Tesla reverses yesterday's gains. Basically, this is what happened here. Yesterday, Elon was talking enthusiastically about all the amazing things happening at SpaceX and Tesla.

But today, the regulatory body that oversees autonomous taxis came out and said that Tesla's autonomous taxis may not work well or may not meet regulatory standards because they do not have a steering wheel.

Cybercab event yesterday. The question is how impressed were you or was it a complete nothingburger? Yeah, I think it was interesting. Um it was hard to know what to expect as far as like there's this whole media embargo, what's going on?

Um I don't understand what the deal with that was,

It's the morning after the CyberCup event that Elon Musk didn't attend, and there are some positive and negative aspects we need to assess for Tesla and CyberCup.

Most importantly, this process, which I call " edge mapping," I believe will be a crucial component for Tesla in the future. The main thing that caught my attention was the CyberCup team's repeated assertion that they do not use maps, and that they rely on a strategy based solely on sighting.

you are going to get some give back on Tesla after the um event yesterday. Uh you know although long-term I think uh uh it's uh you know there's some reasons to be optimistic.

So okay, my 2030 estimates don't really include robo taxi. I see it as a bonus. Um, but I will say it's way too aggressive to say forget about it. This is my icing on the cake thesis.

Okay, so I call robo taxis icing on the cake. I underwrite Tesla as if robo taxis just don't work. That this is a great consumer car that people buy and they get full self-driving with and they freaking love it and we just get back to selling more Teslas.

Tesla shares are slowing down today following the launch of the much-hyped CyberCube event featuring a car without brakes and without a steering wheel. The company did not broadcast the event live as it had done with previous dazzling shows such as "Cyber Truck".

Tesla has now registered approximately 48 Cyber Cab vehicles in Texas, although a federal filing estimates production at around 1,000 of them.

Tesla, as you know, had its big announcement yesterday, the "CyberCup" announcement. The stock rose sharply and then fell again today. So again, as I've been saying for the past few weeks, there aren't many reasons to buy it.

There aren't many reasons to sell it. It is only in a state of slow and gradual ascent. It is trying to determine whether it wants to stay above or below the 50-day moving average.

Staying above the 50-day moving average is great. Staying below the 50-day average is not very good. At the moment he is somewhat below, but again, he doesn't really know which direction he wants.

You want to see an arrow that shows some leadership, and demonstrates a clear direction. We all think Tesla is a great company, at least I do. Simply put, you should buy the company's shares at the right time, you know, when it's on an upward trajectory.

This is a buy trade, and it is also a trade that gives you maximum profit if you use a covered options strategy.

Now, there were some big moves yesterday, right? So big moves yesterday we saw in names like SpaceX and Tesla on the back of comments from Elon Musk.

What I think is so amazing about this, if we look at Tesla, you look at the daily chart here. Let me get rid of that to make the chart even bigger. So, number one, I love this descending trend line.

The reason I love it is because number one, it takes the high pivot from 2024, but number two, literally every hit of this trend line has been an amazing buy level. The reason that's important is if we fall back down, let's say in the next 6 months or whenever to this trend line, I would be a buyer again.

I mean, it just is proving itself time and time again that this is the trend line to buy until proven otherwise. So, that's number one.

Okay, now let's talk about Tesla and the "Cyber Cup" event. There was a lot of hype surrounding this event. What do our audience need to know from your point of view?

Well, I was looking for a live stream, Diane, and they didn't have one. There was no broadcast. But I saw a video of two people riding in a gold-colored "Cyber Cab" and it was amazing.

I mean, I'll be honest with you. It was interesting to see the absence of a steering wheel and foot pedals. There's just that screen in the middle, and you can adjust the seats there. As you know, it was really great.

It's official now. The Cybercab launch event has just ended, and I must say it left something to be desired, although there were some really exciting things here.

First and foremost, Elon Musk was not present at the event, which surprised many people. Instead, we got a hint that we would be able to book CyberCab vehicles at some point in the future, and we got the ability to book potential fleet vehicle orders for them, as well as a hint in the user manual that we would be able to pick them up in the future.

This has not been done before for Tesla and it's kind of weird. Some might say they're either trying to be like Apple and they're trying to turn a little secretive here. Some people are calling it a little sussy.

we need to explain what the heck is going on here with the Tesla Cyber Cab event. Here's the scoop. It's embargoed. There will apparently not be a live stream. Apparently, no Elon Musk on stage.

That's as far as we'll be able to see until maybe maybe there'll be a stage until apparently the event is open. Except the event's apparently not taking place at Giga Texas. In other words, in Austin, Texas at the factory.

It's taking place at some miscellaneous secret address and the people who are going to the event had to sign an NDA beforehand which authorizes Tesla staff to limit that you can't bring a backpack.

You could only bring the things you could carry like a wallet. You know, you're supposed to demonstrate a wallet and maybe a phone. But even if you bring a wallet and a phone, they could still direct you not to take videos or photos of certain parts of this cyber cap launch event.

Apparently, uh you're allowed to bring a pre-approved plus one, but that plus one is not allowed to be an influencer or a content creator of really any kind.

We previously mentioned buy recommendations for Palointer and Tesla shares, but there is a logic behind that, which reflects some of this caution, even though they also have a valid point about the hardware sector.

and certainly a catalyst such as Tesla, could see a notable recovery.

I'm seeing a lot of Tesla and SpaceX calls here. Both of those stocks are trading higher right off the opening print. good move Tesla.

Tesla is just continuing to rip.

Tesla with some upper shadows. Uh we could get the price to come back in, maybe trade under VWAP. So, just uh keep that in mind here as this these wicks start appearing. Still want to see what happens with the next candle, though.

Looking like looks it's looking like sellers are starting to step in here.

In other words, it is a blow to Tesla, which is entering this market with a camera-only approach. So, let's take a look at the details of this Waymo-Tesla dispute, and what it ultimately means for Alphabet and Tesla stock investors.

The timing was interesting, especially with Tesla preparing to hold a CyberCube event on September 3 to introduce its two-seater vehicle to its small and growing fleet of autonomous taxis.

stock has been a disaster 7 has been a disaster besides Apple's been pretty good you Apple um went as high as what yesterday went as high as 22 328ish. But, um, even like something like Tesla, they want to get you out of rhythm.

Tesla had a a really big day. If you would have went longer, like added thinking there's momentum, you know, all of a sudden they tried to throw you out of rhythm by having two inside days.

For example, Tesla is different from SpaceX, Solana is different from Ethereum, and both are different from Bitcoin. Everything is customized.

Now, this is Tesla. This is a mystery. Tesla will do something historic tomorrow. They will launch the Cyber vehicles around 2 p.m. Pacific Time or 1:45, and this will be the first time ever that a dedicated vehicle in the fleet has been launched live.

They had been testing it for many months. They have built more than two thousand five hundred of them. It has been deployed throughout the country. I'm not sure how big this is.
